Free Traffic Tips: Status

Hello all,

I’ve had a bit of a technical problem getting online Tuesday.

##Update: I’ll be making up Google Tuesdays next week instead. We’ll be back to extras until around the 2nd.

Seasons Greetings and Have a Safe New Year! … See you with full posts again in 2005.

Free Traffic Tips – the blog: The $11,918.89 Freebie Fest Extended!

I’ve been told that the $11,918.89 Freebie Fest is back on, but my cell cut off before I could find out how long. I’m only on for a few seconds, but I can come back later and tell you.

In the meantime, just in case it’s in the next day or so, I suggest you hop by there now if you haven’t already.

Money Mondays Extra : Free Information About Incorporating

I couldn’t tell you if this is the best way to go when starting your first – or even your 100th – corporation. I’m not a corporate tax attorney or a CPA, and I believe personally that you may want to consult with one of those professionals over these kinds of matters.

However, I do know that I used some of their services a few years ago and they were helpful to me.

Today, I’m just pointing you to the free information packets on their site:

* “HOW TO” Incorporation Guide
* Small Business Advice from SCORE
* E-Newsletter
* Online Incorporation Workshop
* Basic Trademark Search

Non-Profit Sundays :: Support Oprah’s Angel Network: Donate Online!

So I’m watching Oprah the other day, Friday I think. It was the episode updating viewers on the status of her journey to South Africa, and what she and her incredible Angel network did for the children there. I cried like a little baby, and so did my sister. We were so happy for them.

The Angel Network has helped people all over the world, raising over $17 millon dollars to date. They take donations of every size, and you can even donate online!

Personally, I was so moved by the work they were doing in South Africa that I donated all my profits from Christmas day, which will be in addition to a percentage of my proceeds last week. If you want to be inspired by a child’s will to learn, I suggest tuning in the next time it is repeated on air.

If you can, please join us in making a small donation. If you are unable to, I ask that you take five minutes to tell people at your site about it and link to the page.

Have a Wonderful Holiday!

this is an audio post - click to play

Sorry if the holiday greeting comes out a little shaky… I phoned it in from my father’s house, where my cell phone reception is really iffy. The only important part besides the holiday greetings was the address to sign up for the newsletter. It’s 0-cost-traffic@aweber.com .

Happpy Holidays!

Free Traffic Tips Extra: The $11,918.89 Freebie Fest

Psst. Hey you.

Yeah. C’mere. I have a secret to tell ya.

Read the rest of this Free Traffic Tip here.

There’s this site on the Net that gave away thousands of dollars worth of gifts last year to small business owners, online business owners and webmasters. I know because I racked up last year. Man. Talk about information overload….

Anyway.

You seriously, seriously have to promise not to tell the entire rest of the the populous what I’m about to let you in on. The only reason I’m getting away with this now is the fact that it’s the holiday season and only the really smart people are still paying any attention to what’s going on right now online.

Free Traffic Tips :: Status

Due to the hectic jolly-ness I’m experiencing this holiday season with my extended family in Maryland, and a server move that takes place tonight, you’ll only be seeing Free Traffic Tips Extras in this space until Tuesday, when I’ll resume normal posting schedules. One of those days will include my audio Seasons Greetings. You’ll be relieved to know that I am not going to be singing again!

If this is going to be your last time online until your kids, nieces, nephews or young cousins show you how to use the latest technology that someone will get for Christmas, I wish you Seasons Greetings in accordance with whatever you celebrate. Everyone else, I will type to you later today or tomorrow.

Oh, before I forget. There’s a server move tonight. It may bring little down time, or it may not affect your visit at all. If you’re a subscriber to the newsletter and you cannot download your Christmas gift in this weekend’s issue right away, please be patient and come on back later. Thanks!

Free Traffic Tips Extra :: Amazon, eBay, and Google Turn Themselves Inside Out

This is great reading if you build software of any kind. Quite intriguing. Here’s a quote.

“Now nearly every major Internet company — Amazon (AMZN), eBay (EBAY), Google (GOOG), Salesforce.com (CRM) — is trying to turn itself into a software platform. That is, each one wants customers, software developers, and other companies to build new applications and new businesses based on the very same data that runs its website. In order to do that, they are literally turning their companies inside out and making available for free much of the information they use for their own businesses.”
