Cool Blogger Tagging Tool for Firefox Users

I read about this in the A Consuming Experience Blog. It’s a GreaseMonkey script that makes it easy to append Technorati tags to your posts if you use Blogger. Install the script, log into Blogger, type up your tags, comma or otherwse separated, publish, done. You can even make it set up your default tags, which I always did by using the default template box under Settings ->Formatting.

This makes it much easier to work with…. If you want to Google it for other user experiences, try Multiple Word Technorati tag creator for Blogger. That’s it’s proper name and it’s now compatible with Firefox 1.5, and Greasemonkey 0.6.4.

Podcast News: February 2006 is Podcast Month at PRWeb.

You may be able to get a ton of free publicity for your podcast.

From PRWeb: “During the month of February, PRWeb editors will select up to five news releases a day with podcast-related news and upgrade them to the $200 distribution level free of charge.

The free upgrade for podcast-related news releases entitles these PRWeb customers to one of PRWeb’s premium distribution options to gain maximum online visibility for their podcast announcement.

PRWeb press releases carrying a contribution of $200 enjoy the unmatched power of search engine optimization and PRWeb’s SEO toolset, which includes enhanced statistical reporting on the online distribution of the release and activation of rich text anchor links. Other premiums at the $200 level include EyeCaster banner rotation, custom RSS/XML feed, file attachments, next day distribution and a donation to Unitus, a global microfinance accelerator.”

I can personally vouch for how much a good press release, even one that isn’t search engine optimized, can do for your site’s exposure. Go get you some for your podcast…
