Tool Time Friday | Who’s Your Fav?

I ran into a site (no, I didn’t hurt it too bad) that I think is pretty sweet.

You can add your favorite sites, save your favorite sites and share the same with your socializing friends.

You simply register – it’s free, add your links, thoughts, news, videos, etc.  And if one of your favorites becomes popular, it will be published on the front page for the whole world to see!  Just imagine the exposure you’d get.

So, head on over and give a lash.

Tool Time Friday | Pliggly Wiggly Anyone?

Who out there knows about Piggly Wiggly Stores?

I remember, too many years ago to count, the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Stores that had, as the logo, a cute little pig and I thought it was just too cool.

Okay, let’s get into the meat of this article. Thanks goes out to Mandish Pandy’s article which is somewhat paraphrased below.

“There are over a thousand Digg like websites, and a majority of those use Pligg. Pligg is an open source content management system which allows you to build your own Digg like websites.

Wow!

With the increasing number of small social networking sites converging daily, these small sites are really neat to visit.

No, Thank YOU, Lare, For Helping Me Live My Dream

These are the moments I hold sacred.

So beautiful that I can barely bring myself to respond. I think about how the biggest part of the dream I once had is reality – that through these lessons, I could make a difference to someone’s life.

What I am babbling about: one of my clients, left a comment to tell me about the results he’s getting from following the directions in my various collections on blogging, and social media marketing.

He hasn’t taken advantage of his one-on-one time with me yet, but has already made a great start on his own.

Here’s the note he left me. (more…)

Tool Time Friday | Listen do you want to know a secret..

Do you promise not to tell, woh, woh, woh….

This Tool Time Friday will be an editorial.

No links, no surprises, nothing new, short and sweet, nothing that you haven’t heard before.

If you want to be successful in the blogging world, you need to listen, read, hear what the experts are doing. If you wanted to learn how to do something, to whom would you turn? To those who talk the talk but can’t walk the walk? Of course not. You’d look for those who have made it.

You’d learn, ask, mimic – with your spin on things. You’d read, socialize, contribute and be grateful. You’d be original and not cut corners or look for the easy way out. You’d be honest and true to yourself and to others. You’d work hard and follow the leaders.

And soon you’d be the expert who is helping others to do the same thing that you’ve done.

Tool Time Friday | Why I Want Sandy And You Will Too

Just like a real assistant, she’ll help you keep organized and on time while helping you use email more productively.

Let’s say you’re in a meeting or stuck in traffic and you remember you need to send a report to a co-worker, pick up some groceries or whatever. With your cell phone you could email Sandy the following message, ‘remind me to send Tinu the weekly status report today at 3pm’.

She’ll (Sandy) then email you a reminder at 3pm with that exact message.

How flippin’ cool is that!?!
