Tool Time Friday | EditCCS?

What is EditCSS 0.3.7?

Simple.

It’s a stylesheet modifier in the Sidebar.

EditCSS is truly a time saver if you’re experimenting with the CSS style of your site. Avoids the modify, save, upload, refresh, repeat cycle. Changes are reflected immediately as you type. Only downside I’ve found is that it has trouble with relative url()s such as in a background-image.

Tool Time Friday | Google Preview Firefox Addon

Inserts preview images (thumbnails) of web sites into the Google and Yahoo search results pages. The GooglePreview thumbnail system currently consists of 7 dedicated servers and generates 5 TB of traffic per month.

Like it?

Here’s a comment from a fan – “This is my favorite add on. As a market researcher who Googles 100 things a day, it saves me countless click-throughs to dead ends. I will never use Explorer again. All hail Firefox and of course GooglePreview 3.11.”

Tool Time Friday | Any one for a Aeon?

This will be quick.

Aeon (formerly SphereGnome) is a cool theme with pleasant colors. The buttons light up when you pass over them, and change color or change picture when you click on them. The menu items all have icons, and a number of extensions are supported with icons.

We’re done.

Tool Time Friday | Go to Moji?

Moji was first made into a port by Suematsu Kencho with the financial backing of Shibusawa Eiichi in 1889. It was chiefly used for the transportation of coal, though there is a traditional song about the sale of bananas imported into Moji from Southeast Asia which survives to this day (Banana no tataki-uri). Moji was also the departure point for many troops in the Russo-Japanese War who were ferried across to Korea.

Now that you’ve had a brief history lesson, let’s get to the Moji that will make you silly.

An integrated sidebar-dictionary for Japanese and Chinese including kanji dictionary. At least one additional dictionary package needed (Japanese to English, French, German, Russian, or Korean, or Chinese to English/German dictionary.) Visit Moji’s homepage to download and install packages. http://moji.mozdev.org/
