Google Web Accelerator: “Can I use Google Web Accelerator with a dial-up connection?
Dial-up users may not see much improvement, as Google Web Accelerator is currently optimized to speed up web page loading for broadband connections.”

My Own Wild Theories and Specualation
Kiss me if I’m wrong… but it seems like the folks who really need faster access to the internet are the chaps on dial-up, n’est pas? Am I really going to want to download another tool from the internet that saves me 2 seconds a page?
Yes, those seconds add up to much time saved in the long run. But this is just a smidge below my expectations from Google. Wouldn’t it be far more fantabulous to create a tool that gives both dial-up and broadband a measurable boost, such as the forced gzip compression from WebWarper?
