As far as Im concern, there is a strong rumor abour google aquiring twitter. Im not sure if this is ther case, but one thing is for sure. If twitter becomes a money making model, something bad is going to happen. Take a look at Facebook for example.

Oh, don’t get me wrong… while i don’t think they started Twiter with a revenue model in mind, it’s already confirmed that one is in the making. That’s all over the press these days. It’s just that the one I’m hearing about is not this. And if something like this is on the table, since I haven’t seen anyone else talk about it, this is my way of making my vote heard… and to give people a place to vote for it too.

And yeah, you can’t mention data mining without folks bricking in their pants… have you noticed that it’s rarely a business person though?

Just because twitter has not opening declared their revenue model, doe not mean they do not have one.
Personally I think its about data mining, however you can not say that without people getting upset.
