The key to using an ezine as a traffic tool is never stop promoting your newsletter. Most people submit to a dozen directories when their site is new and get caught up in the day to day of running their site and the list that goes with it.

Don’t get caught in this trap.

Even if it only goes out four times a year, promote your ezine weekly, like it’s brand new. You might also find a way to get new subscribers using the back issues. I have two lists - one that goes out in real time, and another that starts from the beginning of the year for whatever site I have.
