It’s just getting busier and busier as the days progress. I planned for this kind of growth, just not at this pace. But I’m grateful.

Today’s Free Traffic Method is article writing. This is by far, my favorite method of getting traffic, so effective that at times I’m just not ready for the amount of attention I’ll get for sharing my information with the whole danged world.

This being so effective for me, I often wonder why more people don’t use it. My theory is that they don’t realize the benefits.

Benefit 1- Your name and link on hundreds of sites that are set up specifically for the purpose of showcasing articles.

Benefit 2- People can try your ideas, and be sold on your abilities before they ever get to your site. If you want truly targeted visitors, think back to what was a big pain in your behind that other people will relate to solve it, then write about it.

Benefit 3- More spider crawls. This shouldn’t be your primary focus, of course, but if your article gets widely published, or even just picked up by major sites, the resulting spider visits don’t hurt, especially if they archive.

Benefit 4- Extra content for your site. You can fatten up your site with a whole section of useful content, relevant to your topic matter.
