Hello there. Thought I forgot it was Tuesday, didn’t you.?
Nah. Just a little busy with this latest book.
Before we go on to the newest Google News, here’s a brief recap.
If you weren’t around this week you missed me publically cursing at my good friend Rodney for scooping me on Google Suggest.
Normally when Rodney and I talk on the phone, he’ll mention about Google and I’ll say, “yeah, I wrote about that yesterday and did you know…” blah blah blah.
He got me this time. I admitted it with some choice whining and cussing. It’s really quite funny, so feel free to point and laugh.
You also would have missed my article about the connection between Google and blogs if you’ve been away.
In part one of this two part article, I explain a little more about a tip I wrote about in one of the July Editions of Marketing Success with RSS, and contend that, though it may sound like a bold and controversial statement to make, used correctly, blogging CAN get you spidered Google.
The trick, my friends, is to make sure you keep getting spidered, and learn to stay in without cheating.
Under certain conditions, the search engines actually WANT you to succeed. I lay out those conditions in part two, and in an update that will soon be forthcoming to a new book about the Search Engine – Blog connection.
The early edition of that book as a free bonus has been added to the RSS Package (which is not the same thing as the single book, Marketing Sucess with RSS, though the RSS Package does include it). The full version will be more expanded and detailed, and should be available within the week.
I’ll be back with a couple more tips in a few minutes.
