Free Traffic Tips :: Status

I’ve been away for several days, so I thought, before I start pushing my new posts through, I’d do a bit of explaining.

My last post here was Sunday the 4th, the day of the newsletter, and the day I opened the new site about Katrina. On Tuesday, the family member I wrote about in the newsletter who was ill a few weeks ago passed away.

We were all expecting this news, as there’d been a sudden illness preceding it, but it hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. I was fine for the first few hours, but I soon realized that I needed to take some time out to decompress, grieve, and do my best to be there for the rest of my family

On the other hand, the world, for some reason, just won’t stop spinning, and business as usual, continues on.

So I’ve re-engaged myself a little early but I won’t be 100% back for a while. Even before this happened I knew that I needed a break, and that when I came back, my focus would need to change a little. Therefore, even when I am here, my posting rate may slow down a bit until October, though you’ll still be able to reach me upon my return.

I’ll push through some posts I made earlier that were supposed to be published this week, and I’ll be around here and there. But I’ll have to catch up to what was already in the queue before I can get to new requests, so if you’re not sending a support email, please don’t expect a same-day reply.

Properly addressed support emails will still get the same level of service, though on the days I’m out of town it may not be from me directly.

I’ll be out of town later on in the week for a memorial service, so between flying out, and flying back, let me repeat again – I won’t be around much for the seven to ten days. So if it takes me a little longer than usual to respond, I hope you can understand.

Thanks for your emails and phone calls and concern about me. I can’t say that I’m fine… but all things considered, I know I’ll be okay.
