Yes. Complete and utter lack of sanity on my part starting right now.
What do I mean by lack of sanity?
I mean that during the day, for at least another week, I have not one, but two pressing engagements that are preventing me from having time to blog, and I’m going nuts.
So I’m poking my head in throughout the evening when I get back from one commitment or the other, and posting like a woman on crack.
Not that I know anything about how people on crack post.
Then, I’m setting the posts to start publishing in the middle of the night, a few hours before the time I tend to get up for my “night day” so that I can run by and answer the comments from the day previous. Plus, if you’re following the blog, by the time you get up, you’ll have something interesting to read for the day.
I’m also having, sometime this week, a sale that starts at midnight one day this week, and may last until the end of the year.
Why?
Because, I have issues galore. And you know how I feel about turning a negative into a positive, right?
- I’m moving to Maryland in December from Las Vegas, back home. Hurray! I want the move to go as smootly as possible, so I’m generating some extra revenue.
- My genius chiropractor lives there, and when I go for the treatments he gives me, I’m never in pain for more than a 24 hours period. (If you’re new here, I won’t bore you with the whole spinal degenerative disorder thing. Just suffice it to say, it’s an occasional bummer, but as SPD goes, it could be much worse.)
- The holidays are coming, and I have a new nephew. As his aunt, his sister’s aunt, and the auntie of three other nephews and one other niece, it is my sworn duty to spoil them rotten. Due to an unrelated incident that I’ll talk about next, my normal capacity to spoil them has been interrupted since the 13th of September.
- About $30K of my hard earned money has been held hostage since September 13th of this year. That is the incident I was talking about above.
And since I made a three month commitment to provide services related to that $30K, I haven’t been able to bring in new money and have been using my savings to operate my business at cost.
I’m going to make a whole separate post about that, which I’m going to password protect, because I don’t want the whole ugly thing to be indexed by the search engines, especially while I’m still fighting it.
