Google Cache Date Reverts to Older Date
I have noticed this. Because I’m a geek. There’s also a useful implementation of this, but I can’t tell you what it is. Trade secret. Sorry.
The fix is, observe the cached page over a week’s time. A day isn’t long enough to draw any conclusions about when your page will be spidered anyway.
