Google Sitemaps – for Dummies Like Me!

I was all set to post an article about the easy ways to create a Google Sitemap for your site, when I realized that I could do that kill two birds with one stone thing, and direct you to two posts at the RSS Applied group blog I participate in.

(I just realized what a horribly violent expression that is – killing two birds with one stone. Poor birdies!)

Clip ==> “As my colleague JL Reid kindly informs us, you can give Google a hand in finding pages at your site, using the power of XML and the Google sitemaps generator.

But what if, like myself, the Sitemap Generator Script confuses you?

Help is just a few more clicks away in the Google Sitemaps Third Party Programs section.

So far I haven’t tested them all – the first one script I downloaded in PHP did the trick just fine. ”

Thoughts ==> There are more resources below which I found through Mark Hendricks, as well as from reading the Google Sitemaps section. You’ll want to take a look at the rest of the post I made to the RSS Applied blog to hear more about the experience I had before you sit down to make one though.
