The other day, someone asked me why I use Gmail as my default email address instead of my hosting name. There are several reasons - the main one being that it is easier to run seven web sites from one tab in Mozilla Firefox than it is to book up Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora or Netscape Mail. I work better because Gmail thinks like me.
I love POP email, don’t get me wrong. I’d pass out if there was Gmail pop email that I could download and work with offline, etc. And if I had to pay for it, I would, can’t lie.
I only have two modes, lazy or super busy. Sometimes I work for three days without sleeping, sometimes I can barely bring myself to blog - not even considering the limitations my health issue puts on me.
Gmail works with both of those modes. It’s that simple. It’s a multi-tasker/loafer’s dream.
I have three Gmail invites. Comment if you want one, first come, first served.
I almost forgot the news! (No, the invites weren’t news)
GMail has a new link on the left side for contacts. At a glance I can see who I email most frequently. Neat if I don’t want to open up a new email and start typing a name/address and wait for it to pop up. Read more about new Gmai features here.
