Research usually takes me about an hour, but I’ve been a speed reader for about thirteen years. I have a method, and it often determines whether that hour will produce four tips or one.

I also write from my own knowledge for posts that aren’t about other sites, so that cuts down on research dramatically – then I just need to link to or show the evidence that supports what I’m saying. And depending on the post that isn’t always necessary, as the site itself, or a client’s site, is often the evidence.

I have to agree with you about doshdosh. There is some great stuff there. Now, to find time to read yet another site. I’m curious how much time do you spend online researching things like this for your posts?
