The Day for what?
For shortening your ad descriptions. The reminder posted in the Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog gave today as a cut-off day. Here’s the verbatim:
The short description requirement may take effect on your account as early as Wednesday, May 16, 2007.
Mark your calendars.
Note that if a short description is not provided by late June 2007—exact date to be determined—we’ll automatically cut off your ad description at the nearest complete word followed by an ellipsis, when it is displayed on Yahoo!
So if you have an active campaign and you haven’t done it, hop to it! Even if you have a non-active campaign, it’s worth taking time on the weekend to touch your descriptions up, in case you end up going active without much lead notice…
