Part of what makes it viral is the confusion. That’s what leads most people to click the links and go through to the site. I don’t blame him for being confused – or else I wouldn’t have answered him. But that’s what the links are there for… the last paragraph of the post gives you enough information to know it’s not harmful. It’s meant to appeal to people who are marketers as well.

For me, the first time viral marketing made me a whole lot of money, it took on a new meaning.
