Increase Your Website Traffic with Blog of the Day
Hey, You're New Here! We love new people.
Please do us the honor of returning. You can subscribe by RSS feed, or get updates by email. We also welcome your feedback on the posted information. When filling out the form, don't forget to leave your link and your first name.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. internet marketing is one of the hardest areas to get your start in online, and I’m happy that I got established in another area first. Technically I’m not really part of the Internet Marketing crowd - this site is more geared towards people who already have businesses offline, or are getting started in some non-marketing area.
However, internet affiliate marketing is where I cut my teeth. I have been blessed in my endeavors there for one reason: The Internet Warriors Forum run by Allen Says. To officially be a part of the forum is $25 a month. And there hasn’t ever been a month where the expense hasn’t made up for it. I haven’t had the time to dedicate to the incredible tools that come with it, but I’m happy to pay for the privilege of just using the forum itself.
So how does that relate to blog of the day?
Well, Willie Crawford started a great thread over there, asking for the Warriors to share their blogs. And there’s, like, 12 pages of them.
So as I peruse them, I’ll share which ones of the five or six I looked at, and award one of the six my Blog of the Day award.
So how does that increase YOUR website Traffic? That’s easy. If you’re a warrior, add your blog to the thread in the general discussion. If you’re not, join, then add your blog.
I’ll still have other blogs that I just happen to find along my web travels. But I feel like I owe a lot of the career I created for myself to Allen’s advice and his remarkable forum, all the contacts I made there, and all the people who stopped to help me, or who I was able to help.
If you’re going to be an Internet Marketer, that’s the starting point. I’ll have the first blog of the day up in a moment. (This blog really had the post of the year last year, which I never posted, and will rectify today.)

This was a very interesting article. I can say that sometimes it is worth paying extra to get quality. I will check that site out~
So how can I generate traffic for the

Any advice on directing a niche market towards a consulting firm like mine at http://www.commsecurity.net?
Howdy M Riggs,
Thanks for coming by, sorry for the late reply. I’d say in any firm whose profit is based on having specialized knowledge, find ways to add your self to the conversation of your client’s pains. Your business is security, and addresses an offline concern. I’d research two things - where do our ideal clients congregate, and what do our ideal clients search for in search engines. I’d put together a whitepaper, and use it to gather leads from purchased search engine results as a test, for about a month, then see how I could get those listings organically to reduce my costs. And I’d place advertisements in places where my clients gather online. Sometimes you don’t want to start out with free traffic, you want to move in that direction. You could get some free leads if you properly distributed your whitepaper, though.
Very interesting article. I was trying to increase traffic for my http://www.weiss.com site. Any tips?
Thank you,
Susan
