Non-Profit Sundays :: One percent to Charity

Hey there,

Today on Non-Profit Sundays I want to turn your attention to a wonderful site one of my subscribers has.

So many of us become successful online and we decide that it would be a great idea to give something back to the world for what we get out of it. And of course, the idea of Non-Profit Sundays is to give you ideas on organizations you can give back through. I normally pledge a certain amount of my weekly income, as what I hope is the spark of a group action.

You can participate by sending a small donation – I try to find charities with low minimum donations, so that if you have a dollar, you can give a dollar. If you can’t spare that or the minimum donation is too high that week, I ask that you link your site to theirs, or mention it in your newsletter.

The idea is that if all of us do a little – no matter what a little bit is for each of us – at the same time, we can make a big difference.

One percent to charity is a site about making a public pledge, on the honor system, to donate just a tiny portion of your proceeds to charity – $1 for every $100 you make.

“For every $100 you earned would you be prepared to donate $1 of it to charity if in return you were getting completely free advertising for your product or service?”
