Yahoo!
Whoops. Should I be saying that here? *chuckle*
I’ve figured out how to work Blogger, and have the resulting posts FTP’ed automatically to my website. I’m quite the dangerous woman now.
I entered a support ticket but was able to make it go before they had a chance to get back to me. If you’re having trouble doing this for your site, please shout me a holler in my forums:
http://www.freetrafficdirectory.com/members .
Now, today’s freebie. Can you guess?
It’s Blogger!
*pause for applause*
You’re too kind. Please… okay really… how about we just throw money instead?
*crickets*
Thank you. To continue, Blogger is a fantastic tool. If you’ve ever wanted to blog, and haven’t done so through other sites because you want to keep all of your entries at your web property, and don’t feel like fooling with the other tools that reside on your server, you’ll be happy to know that you can set up your Blogger account to automatically update files to your server.
So yes, most of what you see here will be on my real site at www.freetrafficdirectory.com/blog – nothing fancy, just my thoughts and the free traffic tip of that day.
Right now, those of you who really aren’t convinced of the value of blogging are yawning.
Don’t think I can’t see you. Don’t you know that monitors can transmit both ways?
*just kidding* And what’s worse is that I know I got some of you whoare ultra-paranoid like me.
But seriously folks, I know, you’ve heard all the blah blah blah about blogging before. “If I can write a paragraph a day, I can blog, I know… “
What you don’t know is that the blog comes with an atom feed that Blogger will slap right onto your happy site.
Yeah baby. That latest craze, web feeds come free with this blogger dealie, *even if you host it at your own site*.
There’s one more little tip about this that’s even more important, that I will tell you about back at the forums.
If you promise not to tell….
