… There are a lot…and I mean a LOT of folks out there with very little traffic. Like after a year they are still getting about 100 visitors a day. I’ve had two questions regarding that just today. So I’m thinking about putting together a mini-guide to free traffic.
Nothing too elaborate like what’s going to be in Traffic Reality in May, with audio and video and what not, just a guide that names maybe 50 of the 2000 unique ways that I know to get free trafic to a site. I’ll do the 14 basic ones, describe how to get them launched and set it up like a week by week traffic plan, such as week one, do this, week two, then do that, week three, keep doing this, stop doing that, then do this again.
Then on top of the 14 basic ones I’ll put in 7 unique spins on those methods, then whatever else brings fast free traffic until I get to 50.
So here’s what I want to know from you:
- Do you want a guide like that? If not, what kind would you want?
- I’ll of course have a free version with just the basics and links to the free guides in this site, but I’m also going to create a premium version, which is the one that will have the step by step information. Would you be interested in a branded version of the free one to distribute to your folks?
- How much is a believable price? I tend to price my products so low that people don’t believe the knowledge is in there.
- How much of an increase would you REALISTICALLY consider helpful? We’lll assume for now that good targeted traffic would bring you at least as many sales per hundred visitors as it does now (which isn’t true because higher quality leads bring you higher traffic.)All things being equal, would you think, 1000 visitors a day would be great? Or a 25% increase?
First three people to answer will get a free copy of the pilot version, two most helpful and detailed will get a free copy with a list of my suggestions, and everyone who answers will have the opportunity to get a special pre-launch price.

[...] Donna mentioned this yesterday, and I mentioned that Jim Edwards wrote an article telling why this happened, before it happened. From Donna’s comments: I also have a suggestion for a product. If someone could invent a script that allows the thousands of people whose computers stopped playing flash after they upgraded (should I say attempted to upgrade) to version 8… they would make a mint. Macromedia is aware of the dilemma, is working on it, but thus far, nothing has been resolved. IE and flash.ocx no longer play nicely together. [...]
