PCWorld.com – Yahoo Blogging Service Boosts Content

I previewed Yahoo 360 and I just wasn’t all that impressed. Don’t get me wrong, on the side of social networking, they’ve definitely nailed it. It’s surprising how many people are within only one or two degrees of me that I wouldn’t have found myself connected to if it weren’t for this beta test.

However, it doesn’t appear to be an alternative to Blogger, Word Press or even b2evolution,not does it sound like a good reason not to explore other paid blogging options such as Movable Type or Blogware. At least, not yet. Maybe the announcement below will change that. We’ll see.

From PCWorld.com – Yahoo Blogging Service Boosts Content:

“Yahoo plans to add the capability to import content, such as photos and music, from non-Yahoo applications to its new Yahoo 360 social networking and blogging service, according to an executive of the company.”

Tinu Abayomi-Paul is the CEO of Leveraged Promotion, a member of the Network Solutions Social Web Advisory Board, and Editor of Women Grow Business. Her website promotion company specializes in reputation management, and building traffic systems for business. You can find her on Google+ and Twitter.
