… And I respond “Say word? My podcast is in iTunes?” And then, “iTunes accepts business podcasts?”
That’s what happened after Rodney, owner of Podblaze.com, called me up. We subsequently had ourselves a good chuckle about my total obliviousness of late, as I’ve been working on other projects in the past few weeks that don’t directly involve this site.
Following when I must have been newly listed, I had a spike in sales, with no idea of why because I haven’t been promoting lately. I was just thinking about how I need to move my entire pocast over to the premium edition of Podblaze. Funny how synchronicity works….
But getting back to the topic of today’s post – I figured out how the heck I got into iTunes, and got the potential for, (and indeed the result of) lots more listeners, some of which then became clients. So what’s the big secret?
I’m not telling you right now. Sorry.
If you want to know how I retraced my steps over the last week and figured out how to get a listing to show up, you’ll have to listen to my next podcast, which will coincide with the next edition of the newsletter that will go up between now and Monday.
We’ll also talk more about the value of podcasting as a promotional tool. See you then.
