Okay, inside joke? “What had happened was” is the BS phrase certain in-the-know folks use to stall for time when trying to explain a screw up, et al.
And yea, verily I say unto you, I just screwed up.
How? You ask?
You see those little guys at the top of the page when you’re on the home page of the site? The two little banner type guys that look like mini-ads? This template lets me make mini-blurb posts to a special cateogry.
When I tested it out I didn’t know that
a- they weren’t going to be rotated
b- they’d end up in the feed.
Since they were supposed to be “special” categories, I thought I was good. Ah well.
