David Bullock, Brilliant Mastermind
I realize that I have been a little bit neglectful and I apologize. I used to give you a Blog of the Day, at least once a week.
The suggestion I’m going to make to you today will make up for all of the days since I’ve remembered to do so. That suggestion is: if you do nothing else today, if you take no other action related to publicizing your business, getting more leads, or making more sales, go and read David Bullock’s blog. Read as much of it as you can in one sitting.

I haven’t been around for a while, and I’ll probably post an update on that later. I’ll be flying back to Vegas on May 2nd, and by the 7th, I’ll officially be around full time again. While I have a few minutes, I thought I’d talk a little about business blogging, since I have a press release out about it today.
One of the reasons I talk about blogging so much is that I know a lot of webmasters who are absolutely desperate for traffic to their sites. They often have a budget of less than one hundred and fifty dollars, a few hours a week of free time for marketing, and desire search engine traffic above all else.
If this sounds like you, let me ask you this.
What’s wrong with a method to increase your search engine traffic in the time it takes to write a medium-length email every weekday for 30 – 90 days? Especially if, after 90 days, you can maintain those results with one update a week?

I read about this in the A Consuming Experience Blog. It’s a GreaseMonkey script that makes it easy to append Technorati tags to your posts if you use Blogger. Install the script, log into Blogger, type up your tags, comma or otherwse separated, publish, done. You can even make it set up your default tags, which I always did by using the default template box under Settings ->Formatting.
This makes it much easier to work with…. If you want to Google it for other user experiences, try Multiple Word Technorati tag creator for Blogger. That’s it’s proper name and it’s now compatible with Firefox 1.5, and Greasemonkey 0.6.4.

In a recent article on SearchEngineDownLow.com, there’s Jason Dowdell points us to a list of Blog search engines.
If you’re a blogger, I have to tell you from first hand experience that it’s a good idea to get into these, whether you have a commerical site or not.

Well, that was fast.
Remember this morning when I said that search engines could buy my love? Well, I’ve been bought again.
Too bad for Yahoo, MSN and Amazon that this came from Google. You can read the article in Internet Week. Here’s what the announcement said today at Blogger.
Did you know that you can turn your blog into a source of revenue with Google’s AdSense program?
Would you like to sign up?

If you haven’t heard, Yahoo has a blog. That part is pretty much old news. It’s been up since the 18th I think.
What I haven’t really seen anyone talking about is the fact that 1- It’s feed enabled – and B, it’s surprisingly easy to comment on, and you can also leave your link. If you say something useful, it seems like they are willing to incorporate your suggestions. I don’t know… I get more warm and fuzzy feelings from Yahoo’s Blog right now than I do from Google’s. Looks like Yahoo uses moveable type, which, though I love Blogger to death, I have to say Moveable Type uses more of the popular blog functions…
All in all, seems a lot friendlier than Google’s Official Blog, which Yahoo links to as a source. Classy.
Wonder if we’ll see any changes at Google’s Blog as a response.Course, there is the other Google Blog, though it’s not endorsed by Google.

Hi folks,
For the second time in a week, my site was down again. I never imagined that this host (one of three that I use for my sites) could have more than 12 hours of down time in one week, so I went ahead and left my promotions intact. I’m a little frustrated today, but you’ll all still get your tips, just a little late.
Those of you reading this have my site feed via Feed Burner, or are reading this on the front page of the new site FreeTrafficTip.com..
One of the advantages of using FeedBurner.com’s services is that if your site goes down and you can republish it part of it elsewhere on a temporary basis, life can go on to an extent. Every subscriber, client and site member that I have will get a notification that I’ve made a new post to my blog..
And how was I able to move all my posts as soon as the new site went up?
