RSS Toolbot is the site of the day. Combine several feed links into one page to read. Works like a simplistic aggregator (feed reader) – great if you have just a couple of feed you want to read.

Traffic Thursdays: Atom to RSS
If FeedBurner’s mega-features are a little over your head, you can use the services of 2RSS.com to turn your Atom feed into a version of RSS. Then you can offer both at your site instead of participating in that whole Betamax/VHS type argument that’s going on right now about format.
Traffic Thursdays: Another Fun Free Feed Day
I was too tired to do the extras day yesterday, and I’m still pretty much feeling the effects of adjusting to this new medication for my back. But I promised I would do another day of fun free feed tools so here it is.
To get you started, you can read the article I wrote this morning: Fun Free Feed Tools for Both the Publisher and the Reader They’re more for the Puublisher than for the Reader, but they’re still fun all the same.
Google Tuesdays : Google Gossip
The Gossip
I’m sure you read the New York Post story stating that they might be launching their own browser.
And some people scoff – “please. The New York Post? Like they’re a credible paper. I’ll believe that when I see it on Google Tuesdays.”
Well guess what….
The News
A little bird told me that Google has registered the domain name GBrowser.com. It’s a matter of public record. (Be sure to check my trackback links later for where I got this juicy little tidbit.) This was registered back in April.
My Own Wild Theories and Speculations
Honestly, do we really need a Google Browser? What would make it the best thing since Mozilla Firefox?
Free Traffic Tips: Traffic Thursday : Concept Conversion Pt 2
Okay, you’ve got a tracking system, and you have your pages prepared to test, now what?
For our example, I’m going to use the article that was recently republished on Site Pro News. Using this method, when I get published for free in a major publication like that, it’s as good as money in the bank. And they’ve been gracious enough to publish me five times just this year.
If you take a look at the article – 5 Reasons Why Your Site Needs To Publish A News Feed – you’ll see that there are 3 major links leading back to my site in the article, the one in my resource box, that points to my blog, my feed (after the link for Pluck, which really leads back to the Pluck downloads page – it’s just a forwarder for easy subscription, so that one doesn’t count), and the one minute tutorial.
Each of these links addresses my audience in a different way, and leads them to a different method of using my site, and ending up as part of my audience.
Free Traffic Tip Extra: Feed Format Changes
I’ve been experimenting with the way the feed is set up. For those of you with the Feedburner link, you’ll get the summary link you’re used to- this will help sites who are syndicating the feed on their sites. However if you prefer to have the entire post in your reader, there will be a link added to the site you can use.
Freedom Fridays: Enhancing Your Present Feed
The problem
Your feed is automated, maybe it’s a blog feed or one that came with your CMS program. You want to make more posts, because that may mean more traffic to your pages, because readers will have more headlines to choose from. But you don’t want to make gratuitous posts to your blog that just point to other links. Or, you just want a way to incorporate links from your other feed into the master feed.
The solution
If you use FeedBurner to track your feed statistics, you can sign up for del.icio.us, a free service that will splice the links you choose from into your “burned” feed for you.
Money Monday’s Feed of the Day
My favorite is Copywriting and Marketing Articles by Karon Thackston. Used to be my only Copywriting feed, but I haven’t seen it updated in a while.
So in second position and closing is nick usborne’s excess voice feed. To use them, copy and paste the link into your favorite feed reader. If you don’t have one, you’re welcome to come by the member’s resource section – with your free membership, you’ll have a headline reader in your account area.
See you tomorrow. Or later on today if you’re on the East coast.
