Free Traffic Tips

Well now this is just a great idea – How come it’s taken this long for somebody to figure it out?  Kudos to Amanda Harris for coming up with a great way of fund raising for those special projects and organizations we hold dear. 

IBakeSale is a really easy, friendly site to use and when you shop with their participating merchants, cash back (percentages listed on the site) goes directly to the organization(s) you designate.  I found one my very favorites and signed up already.  Does this make you feel good, or what?  Shop online and donate to your favorite charity or organization at the same time! 

You can even add your own organization to the list, i.e. kid’s school/sports fund raising events, and spread the word around.  People love to shop – And when donating is made this easy, I think really good things can happen.  Try it out – It sure beats bringing home a plate full of cookies (although some (Morgan) might not agree).  Thanks all – Have a fab week!

Good morning everyone!   Unless you have been living in a bubble, you know that the latest season of American Idol (yes, I’ve been watching) is nearing it’s conclusion and this season included a project entitled “Idol Gives Back”, a fund-raising, two night event.  Viewers were urged to donate through the Charity Projects Entertainment Fund, CPEF, and proceeds will be distributed to a number of excellent organizations. 

If you did not participate in this event, please take the time to view this site and see how this phenominal amount of money (Over $60 million!) will be used.  Both US and African relief programs will benefit and an excellent description of each is included at the site.  You will find links to these well-deserving organizations, so if you did not participate earlier, you may still help them on-line.

This huge event makes us realize that working together, whether we donate time, money or resources,  we all do make a difference.
