Before we continue, I want to let you know I’m aware of the video embed problem with videos from my Facebook fan page.

Apparently even if you embed a video to a page, which is supposed to be visible to Everyone even outside of Facebook, some people still can’t see it.

So I’m uploading the videos to our free member site over at Leveraged Promotion, and using that embed code to feature them here.

If you couldn’t see Why Facebook Matters, The Psychological Side of the Facebook Experience, or Leveraging Your Profile via News Feed vs Other People’s Profile Promotion (otherwise known as Why Facebook Spam Fails), the new embeds visible to everyone are now live at those links.

I’m going to be telling a bunch of social media secrets, mostly relating to what the key is to getting more traffic via social media. It’s not like anything else you’ve heard with tips on what the links are and stuff like that. I’m going to be talking more about what the difference is between an average everyday user and a power user. What do they do differently that we’re not?

I’m also going to talk about how to keep social media from being a time suck in your day, without putting you behind the pace of other users.

Then, of course, you can ask me all your questions about where to begin and such. This is my last free and public interview for anything remotely related to website promotion and internet marketing.

Yahoo officially announces changes to MyWeb. In a post to their MyWeb blog yesterday, they shared with us some of the updates they’ve been making.

Top Tags and Interesting Today
We haven’t figured out how the save the world yet, but we *can* show you what the world is saving. Specifically, our “top tags” section and “interesting today” tab show what’s hot in the system, and are a great way to start if you’re new.
