This Normally Would Have Happened on Non-Profit Sundays
Hey, You're New Here! We love new people.
Please do us the honor of returning. You can subscribe by RSS feed, or get updates by email. We also welcome your feedback on the posted information. When filling out the form, don't forget to leave your link and your first name.
But I only read it today.
On Non-Profit Sundays I ask people who are so inclined to contribute a link, or a small donation to a cause I came across during the week. I have always thought it a good idea to set aside part of my income to help people who need it more than me. Sometimes that’s a family member, most often it’s a charity, every now and then it’s an individual someone on the web told me about.
This week, i got an email from Dr. Mani, that told me about a post Jim Wilson made to the Tony Blake forums, about a young man named Sean Hargreaves that the Melbourne, Florida firefighters have decided to help, a son of one of their fellow firefighters.
Read more about it, and like I normally say on Non-Profit Sundays, give a little and/or tell your audience. If you don’t have a site where you can link, or you can’t leave this link on a discussion board where it might be appropriate, and you don’t have a dollar to send, a nice thought won’t cost you a dime. And maybe a creative action to go with it might come to you later. If you can afford only a postage stamp, send Sean a letter or a postcard. The address is on the site.
So if you can, you would be doing me a personal favor it you could find it in your heart to make some small offer.
And you know what else? If you have any doubt in your mind that Internet Marketers, from the wealthy to the newbie, are some of the kindest and most helpful people in the world, go and read that thread at the Anthony Blake forum. It’s not one of those show-off threads where people are just telling you about how much they’re helping to make themselves seem like good people. It’s a genuine humble self-offering, of all kinds of help. I get tears of joy from seeing people give.
