Don’t know exactly what kind of ‘protection’ you’re looking for, but this particular kind is related to  Firefox.

I allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content to run ONLY from trusted domains of your choice, e.g. your home-banking web site and guards the ‘trust boundaries’ against cross-site scripting attacks (XSS).

This preemptive approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities - both known and unknown - with no loss of functionality. It’s called NoScript 1.5.6.

SO!  Check it out ’cause we all know that we all need protection of some sort, and by the looks of the icon, well, you know.
