The Peacock Throne, called Takht-e-Tâvus (Persian: ??? ?????) in Persian, is the name originally of a Mughal throne, later used to describe the thrones of the Persian emperors from Nader Shah Afshari to Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi.
