For most people, marketing is the last thing they do each day.

If they don’t have time to do it, or don’t want to pay someone to do it, it doesn’t get done. What I wonder is this - why are you spending the least amount of time on the activity that contributes the most to your bottom line?

The answer is that you probably don’t realize how important the job of marketing your site is. Maybe Google has been treating you so well, that you have no reason to think the gravy train will never end. Perhaps no one has ever stressed its importance to you the way I am now.

Or maybe you still don’t get it. So let me try again.

Marketing is how you get new clients, or get current or former ones to buy again. Sometimes it can be done passively, through, say, organic search engine results. Sometimes you can pay for it, such as via pay per click.

If that’s what you’ve been relying on, that’s great. If you don’t want any more business, or more money, you can go now. I appreciate that you stopped by.

However, if you want to grow your biz into a money tree - market more. And market first.

Why do it first?

You can never forget to do it if it’s the first thing you do.

It not only prioritizes making more money with your site, it makes it into a habit, like brushing your teeth. Start your day with the thing that makes you money most, for one week. Then come back and tell me how it went as a reply to this blog post.
