Thanks for coming by Andy!

Yeah, I haven't actually tried any of the widgets, though I am widgetoholic myself. I have to fight the urge to tinker, so I try to stick to the ones that have at least SOME marketing value. I actually wouldn't put someone else's blidget on my site unless it came in a cool bumpzee flavor like so. --->

BUT I thought it would be nice to put that widget on imtellall.com and vice versa since the content is related, and it's a bit cuter and faster than straight rip. I know I could do the same thing with that Gecko tool or RSS Digest or FeedBurner, but the widget is more eye-catching.

For someone else's blog, no, I wouldn't do that. The coolest blog to widget thing I've seen was the one at Opera --> http://widgets.opera.com/widgetize/ . At least with that you're making something that could be downloaded to a desktop. It won't stay on my Dashboard or Desktop in Mac though.

Hi Tinu

I am always fighting my insular tendencies with blogs and some of the widgets, in fact most of the ones I see related to sharing other blogs I tend to bypass.

As an example I can't see any reason I would include a widget of all the recent posts from someone else blog in my sidebar.
I do include an RSS feed from my Technorati favorites, but at least that has some kind of reciprocal component.
