Webmaster Wednesdays Site of the Day :: Blogrunner

Blogrunner, a newly resurrected service that tracks blog conversations related to the news is now becoming so popular that some are saying it rivals Google News.

And maybe that’s a stretch, though not by much in my opinion. Whatever you think of its potential reach, it’s still a nifty site. Instead of just following the news, you can follow what people’s reactions are to the news. And why is this useful to you?

No matter what industry you’re in, a tool that can help you follow popular opinion can give you clues on products to release, monitor what might be of interest to your audience, and give insight on what can get you some press of your own.

If you’re a blogger, you might also be able to use this information to get your blog into the conversation, or just to find out where the readers are right now.
